The regulatory shift is part of a broader crackdown across the EU, where hundreds of crypto platforms are also expected to halt services for European users if they cannot comply with MiCA’s stringent requirements. Industry analysts warn that the transition could disrupt access for unwary investors. CoinGate, a Vilnius-based payments company licensed under MiCA, told *The Baltic Times* that many European businesses remain unaware they are losing crypto customers as platforms exit the market.
The regulatory deadline arrives amid broader digital market turbulence. Unofficial Telegram clients, including the app *Telega*, will also cease operations tomorrow, citing compliance risks.
For Binance users in the EU, the immediate priority is to verify their account status and transfer assets to compliant platforms or self-custody solutions. Failure to act before midnight could result in frozen funds or lost access to trading services. The exchange has not announced plans to reinstate services in the region, leaving customers with few alternatives as the MiCA era begins.
